I am a thoughtful director of product design, focused on conceptual development of apps, the creation of rich, beautiful content, with a careful eye on product vision.
I was born and raised in the midwest, where an early arts education inspired the vision of my future, and I recently moved to Florida after living in Brooklyn, NY for about 12 years. I currently focus on designing apps for K-8 students, including UX and UI design, content design, accessibility, and I have lingering skills from a former life of book and print design.
I currently work at Curriculum Associates, where our product reaches over eight million students across the United States. I lead the team in creating a rich and engaging experience, as well as ensuring the design team meets frequent product release deadlines. My role involves directing a team of designers in creating digital Reading lessons, collaborating with a talented mix of ELA and Spanish Reading experts, curriculum writers, engineers, UX Researchers, and executive stakeholders.
In my free time, I work in my home ceramics and 2D art studio, creating functional pieces of pottery, as well as paintings and drawings. I also have a passion for cooking, baking, and mixology.
